I've experimented with several kabob recipes, and this turned out to be the very all-time. The combination of honey and teriyaki sauce worked well. I marinated information technology for 8 hours, and that was sufficient (you don't need the full 24 hours to become the flavor). 1 suggestion is to not to place meat and vegetables on the same skewer; although it looks pretty, they take different cooking times.

Great marinade! It's so unproblematic and tastes so good! I cut the recipe in one-half and used it for a little over a pound of sirloin. I used minced garlic instead of garlic powder and added a footling olive oil. I poked the meat with a fork and put it into a ziploc purse and let it marinate overnight. I never marinate meat together with veggies and ever grill them separately as they melt at different rates. Overall, very tasty.

I had to make something for a camping trip for viii people, I marinated the ingredients in a plastic bag the night earlier we left and speared them at the camp site. They were amazing. I modified it a little scrap, and used merely onion, pepper, craven pineapple and spices (and REAL ginger). People were screaming for more.
07/05/2005
This recipe was a huge hit at our 4th of July cookout!! The flavour turned out delicious!! Side by side time I'll marinate the veggies separately and non as long as the meat. My mushrooms soaked upward all the marinade and were also squishy to put on skewers.
12/10/2002
This is great! I liked it more than so on the chicken than the steak, merely still a thumbs upwardly. I added a TBSP. of roasted garlic Montreal Chicken seasoning (McCormick) to the chicken & the ruddy pepper Montreal Steak seasoning to the steak marinades, DELICIOUS! Cheers Sue!
06/10/2003
Marinating the vegetables forth with the steak and/or chicken makes these kabobs delicious. I highly recommend.
10/20/2002
Splendid flavour. This was my starting time fourth dimension making kabobs and it was so easy. The veggies stayed crisp just the mode I like them and the meat was so tender and juicy also. Lots of season. Thanks
07/07/2003
I doubled the marinade recipe because it didnt seem like quite enough. The results were amazing. Anybody raved.
02/21/2003
I fabricated this recipe twice. Since information technology was and then common cold outside, I used my George Foreman Grill. First-class. The next time, I baked the craven and peppers inside foil packets in the oven. This was but OK, the peppers got too mushy.
04/17/2012
This is a great recipe.
04/17/2012
This is a great recipe but I'd like to propose the skewers be soaked in water for at least an hour prior to using to help prevent them called-for.
01/15/2011
Excellent taste super juicy outside was crispy prissy grill marks inside was super tender and juicy. Veggies had great taste also. Marinated everything in 1 bag for 5hrs Would go bully with unmarinated grilled pineapple.
04/17/2012
Rave reviews from my guests. I doubled the marinade and marinaded both the veg and meat simply in separated numberless. I too double skewed each kabob. This stops the veggies from turning on the skewer and makes it much easier to grill. I like my steak med rare then I grilled the steak on dissever skewers so as not to over cook the meat.
06/01/2005
This is and then skilful!! Yum! Everyone at my Memorial Day bbq loudly voiced how good they idea they were while eating them! I marinated the veggies divide from the meat for a total of 24 hours. I call up marinating them for a whole day helps make the flavor exceptional. I made these exactly as stated adding pineapple to the skewers as well.
09/29/2010
It is very rare that you lot find a marinade that works well with beef, chicken, and vegetables. This one does. I loved the fact the veggies were a flake soggy after marinading for just under 24 hrs. Information technology made them cook quicker, therefore being the perfect constancy when removed from the grill. The chicken and beef cooked beautifully! So, then, and then good! Would recommend this to anyone without hesitation.
04/18/2012
Peachy kabob recipe. I would disagree with the remarks about cooking the meat separately from the vegetables. Flavors in this recipe are from the marinade as well as the mixture of the meat and the vegetables getting happy with each other.
08/22/2009
These were so good, I had to society a agglomeration of stainless steel skewers from Amazon to make sure we e'er had them on manus! Nosotros make this a LOT at present, because its and then easy and tastes then good! I marinate veggies separate from the meat, because i don't cook them as long...just personal preference
09/06/2011
Fantastic recipe! Marinated craven (overnight) and veggies (near iv hours) separately. Added fresh pineapple and zuchinni. Also used fresh ginger and garlic. Soaked my skewers for virtually an hr in h2o. The chicken was moist and very flavorful. Recieved wonderful reviews from my cookout guests. With definitely utilize again and once more!!
05/19/2006
Oh My Goodness! These were the best kabobs I have ever had. Don't forget the mushrooms and pineapple. I had more veggies then meat, then I made serveral veggie skewers. I am making them again this week. I made them with Rainbow Pasta Salad Ii. Great meal. Even the left overs were wonderful, tender and juicy.
04/17/2012
Kabobs are peachy, just you should melt the meat and the veggies separately due to varying cooking times
05/23/2010
I needed an excellent and delicious recipe for kabobs, and I tried this ane!!! I only had time to marinate them in a bag for most an hour, and they turned out fabulously!!! My guests, husband, and I absolutely LOVED these! They have and exquisite season and are astonishing! :) We will be having these once again for certain!
01/10/2011
Made exactly every bit written. Super easy & tasty. We cooked the chicken alone on skewers and the meat with the veggies. I preferred the chicken over the beef. Would recommend serving with Spiced Basmati Rice from epicurious.
07/28/2010
Yum! The marinade was perfect for the chicken, and the veggies were flavorful. Don't forget to oil your grill though- I lost a few precious craven pieces by sticking- oops!
09/12/2010
This was neat, but I would rather utilise soy in place of Teriyake sauce.
09/07/2010
Splendid! We used a blender on the marinade sauce as the dear and terioke sauce did not mix. Likewise we used red, orange and yellowish peppers.
08/01/2006
Great! I used KC Masterpiece Love Teriyaki Marinade (so I didn't add together the extra honey) and they turned out absolutely delicious! My husband requested these at least once a week from now on. :)
06/29/2010
Wonderfulful recipe! My family unit scarfed them upward. I only marinated them for about 4 hours and it was enough, I think IF marinated the marinade might overpower the meat flavor, (although i don't know for shore) I did add shrimp also, YUM
03/06/2006
My husband adored these kabobs. I made them with red onions, yellow squash, mushrooms, and a yellow pepper. Very good. I also fabricated a the teriyaki sauce from a recipe on the site, which was pretty good. I marinated the kabobs for about 4 hours. Surprisingly, the kabobs had captivated a lot of the flavor in that time. Quick, piece of cake, and delicious--I will definately be making once again.
01/11/2011
I tried this recipe a while back and my family and neighbors loved it. Then much and so I just got to get ane Kabob out of the 40 I made.
06/23/2010
These were fantastic!
01/19/2012
These were to dice for! Mariated chicken and steak in sep numberless for most sixteen hours and the veggies (Onions/Squash and Reddish Peppers- just happened to be what I had on manus) only about two hours. Came out perfectly on the grill!! Served it over some fried rice. My fellow loved it, he was actually impressed at how tender the sirloin came out- had to keep rotating the steaks to do even cooking though.. I am non a chief griller!! I will make these over again come summertime, when there isn't two inches of snowfall falling!! It was fun though :)
07/17/2003
I liked information technology very much. I didn't accept any teriyaki,so I used soysauce. Information technology was good and moist. Next fourth dimension I will have the teriyaki and use it.
08/04/2003
Absolutely delicious. The meat and chicken were just total of flavor and very tender. Thanks!!
07/28/2003
These were then easy and very practiced. Anybody raved at how good they tasted. Thanks Sue for sharing.
07/xi/2010
Yeah, these were very very good. I added the craven to one marinating bag and the vegies to another marinating pocketbook. I also added fresh pineapples and placed these in with the vegies. I felt the pineapples added another delicious layer of season. I'k making these again this week. Thanks and then much for the recipe.
07/09/2005
Made exactly every bit stated, marinated everything merely mushrooms for half dozen hours added mushrooms for last 3 hours. Taste slap-up, good flavour, and most likely I will make it again
06/21/2010
The marinade is wonderful, and the overall flavour was corking. We seared ours a little so the carmine peppers and other veggies got a piddling caramelized... wasn't out of this world, but was tasty!
02/04/2006
YUMMY! Great marinade, yummy veggies. I broiled this in my oven, 450 for xv minutes or so. I would recommend marinating for several hours or even a day or ii. The chicken was great (i used chicken and beef) but the beefiness was kind of tough. Good recipe though!!
09/23/2012
I permit mine marinate for 24 hours. Turned out great! Have already fabricated at to the lowest degree once more.
06/28/2010
This has to be the all-time recipe e'er for kabobs! Awesome stuff!!! Don't hesitate...Mmmmm.
02/03/2006
pretty skilful... this is meliorate on chicken then beef... will utilise for chicken again.
08/18/2002
very juicy, very tasty. thank you for a recipe where my kitchen doesn't heat up!!
07/31/2010
Really good and easy.
06/fourteen/2010
Fabulous! I followed other communication and separated the meats from the veggies when marinating for 8+ hrs. This will definitely be in our usual rotation, even during the work week. As 1 reviewer suggested, cut everything up and bag it in marinade in the morning. and so go to work and come habitation and grill. YUMMY
07/21/2010
This recipe was my start grilling feel and I looked similar a existent chef! These Kabobs are easy to prepare and entertain with.
07/xix/2008
This was VERY, very good! I omitted the beef equally the sauce sounded better with merely craven, and the mushrooms since my hubby doesn't like them. I used fresh garlic and ginger (which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5, I wasn't crazy about using garlic common salt and ginger powder when the fresh stuff tastes meliorate), doubled the marinade and halved between two ziploc numberless, putting chicken in ane and the veggies in the other. Marinated overnight turning the bags whenever I went into the refrigerator for something, and added chunked pineapple when threading the skewers. Outstanding, will make again and again - thanks so much for sharing!!!
07/18/2011
I made about 45 kabobs for 7 people with bacon ranch pasta salad and garlic bread and ran out!! I even added three zucchini, 2 containers of grape tomatoes, and 2 cans of pineapple to stretch out the kabob recipe. It was SO Practiced!!
06/02/2002
Used this recipe for Memorial Twenty-four hour period. Had guests over. This is a delicious fashion to grill sirloin. I had no thought that marinating the peppers and onion would be and so delicious. The veggies fifty-fifty kept thier "crispiness" after being marinated. A+ to this recipe!!
04/28/2012
I started marinading with 24 hrs in mind, something came upwardly, and it turned into 48 hr soak. It was raining, cold and windy Iedidn't actually want to spend any time at the grill. I put it in a skillet, and it turned out GREAT!!
05/03/2012
Absolutely Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made it exactly as shown, except I dont eat beef. I felt like this was enough to feed ii adults, if that's all they were eating. I also followed another reviews recommendation and cooked the veggies on their own skewer. Information technology smelled so great cooking on the grill! Thank you!!
03/26/2012
The marinade was perfect on these and I really marinaded everything for almost 48 hours equally information technology was prep for camping. Cooked groovy over the campfire and everyone ate information technology all.
08/09/2010
Super skillful recipe. The honey and ginger added a special touch. Marinated the meat and veggies in same ziploc bag for about 5 hours. Thanks for sharing this keeper recipe!
06/xvi/2012
These are wonderful. I took the communication of others and didn't put the veggies in with the meat. I used carmine onion, blood-red and green peppers, mushrooms and pineapple. My but mistake was that I didn't brand enough.
08/13/2011
SO Great! I was very nervous because of the 1/2 c dearest (that'southward alot!) but the marinade turned out to be lovely! I only used tomato, onion and steak as we have some picky eaters in the family unit. We didn't have any leftovers!
09/05/2011
We made these yesterday for a cookout and they were first-class! Everyone raved the whole night! This will be my kabob staple recipe!!!
06/01/2014
This was just what I needed for a spur-of-the-moment BBQ.. minimal endeavour for smashing results. I plant it helpful to skewer the beefiness and craven onto separate sticks, as the beef tends to melt faster (otherwise, you'll end up with overdone beefiness/perfect craven or perfect beef/salmonella craven)
10/26/2010
Corking recipe! It probably would take been fine if I followed the recipe, just my family loves the gustatory modality of garlic and ginger and then I doubled those two ingredients and it all the same came out incredibly tasty!
09/08/2009
My merely complaint - there wasn't enough! The and then called '10 servings' fed just 4 hungry adults. Yummy!
05/xxx/2004
Even with long marinade fourth dimension, this recipe was flavorless. I will not make again.
06/04/2008
I haven't tried it yet- just wanted to reply to 1 that used fresh pineapple. don't add fresh pineapple to the marinade. I did this and the craven turned out mushy too -horrible. nosotros ordered pizza.
06/18/2001
Awesome!! Non one piece left over! Fifty-fifty the meat is moist - great flavor. My son ate the onion by itself! HE DOESN'T LIKE ONION!! My daughter devoured the bong pepper - believe me THAT'South odd! We all loved all of it! I'thou making this once more and again and.....
10/18/2007
These were great. We did marinade overnight. Used both beef and chicken. I only marinated the veggies for 2 hours though. Hubby added veggies to his pocketbook correct off the bat and they were too soggy.
07/08/2001
I am so impressed. I was looking for a sidedish for the kabobs we were going to make (I have a favorite marinade I utilise for my gyros and such) merely institute this. I saw it had a high rating, and talked my married man into trying information technology. I honey anything with honey. He thought it turned out a little dry out, only I loved it! So did the kids. Nosotros will definately make these over again, simply hubby will take his off the grill sooner than the rest of the states.
x/12/2009
One of the best recipes Kabob recipes I have e'er fabricated! I let everything marinate overnight, but used beefiness no chicken, and put the mushrooms in an hour or two before I grill. Yummmy!!
08/22/2006
Then practiced. Cut everything up the night earlier and let it marinate 24 hours. Fabricated dinner fourth dimension and so like shooting fish in a barrel! We used sirloin, greenish peppers & pineapple.
04/15/2007
The recipe was a huge hit at my BBQ. Easy to brand and follo-through on. I put my mushrooms in after like others recommended and it was groovy! Thank you!
07/01/2000
very tasty and the veggies stay juicy. we're using this recipe for our upcoming luau.
07/26/2008
Absolutely wonderful! My family unit thought this was the best meal they had ever eatten. I had never tried to brand kabobs earlier so this was my first attempt. They were beautiful! I served them with rice and frest friut. TO Dice FOR! Thanks for a perfet and unintimadating recipe.
xi/eleven/2009
These were actually skilful. Like many other reviewers, I was not at all comfortable mixing the beefiness, chicken and veggies all together to marinate, then I separated them into 3 dissimilar numberless and let them marinate all day. I broiled these for virtually 15 minutes (likewise cold out to BBQ), turning them once in the centre of cooking time, and they were moist and flavorful.
04/20/2008
Considering there were only a few ingredients these were fantastic. Marinated the beef for 24 hrs. Onions and peppers for six and mushrooms for two. Utilize null lock numberless for quick clean up.
06/04/2004
Tried this recipe for a family cookout of over 20 people. Assembling the skewers for this large crowd was quite time consuming, just worth information technology! Received many requests for the marinade recipe. Definitely a keeper!
07/04/2005
This recipe was proficient, but non spectacular - I follwed it exactly as stated and marinated the meat and veggies for almost five hours - next time I would definitely marinate everything overnight!
03/28/2004
This was fantabulous, we also marinated shrimp, turned out great!
07/19/2007
This was a huge hit at our last charcoal-broil. I'll never purchase shop bought kabobs again. This was very piece of cake and tasted peachy! Cheers.
06/17/2006
We marinated the meat for 6 hours, which was fine, and the vegetables for most 3 hours -- they were fine but could take handled longer. Substituted minced garlic for the garlic powder. This fed iv adults and four kids with very fiddling leftover. Volition make it again.
04/09/2012
Made the recipe as stated, didn't treat the peppers, only a personal preference and the marinade was good, but I would prefer more than, so next fourth dimension will double that. Overall, information technology's pretty skillful. Only a matter of what veggies/meats you similar and wish to add together!
09/05/2005
This recipe is admittedly fantastic. The best by far for Pork. I did however substitute the garlic pulverization for existent garlic cloves...Thanks for sharing this awsome recipe, my guests thought I was "The" master chef!
02/10/2009
Excellent! I added pocket-sized roma tomates (fantastic) and a petty garlic to the marinade. I made this for some friends and everyone loved it. I will definitely make this again.
04/16/2006
I made this tonight with just beefiness and cooked the steaks whole and kabobed the veggies. Anybody loved information technology. Thanks for a groovy recipe
06/22/2008
The marinade is great! The honey really makes information technology tasty and allows the meat to get carmelized. Any veggie-meat combo is practiced...I used chicken, small sweet pepper halves, and sliced summer squash and zucchini. Great on the grill!
01/17/2004
These were great, I used xanthous peppers and added grape tomatoes. I did not marinate the veggies but brushed them with olive oil and seasoned with garlic powder let them set and brushed the remaining marinade on everything before putting them in the broiler on med for about 6min each. side.
06/24/2008
Really freakin good - no modifications except split the vegetables and the meat to support different cook times.
05/24/2004
This is the best! I used a homemade teriyaki sauce from this website and added the dear, ginger, & garlic powder to it. It made the best chicken and tenderest steak. I'1000 planning to effort this with shrimp tomorrow. I also wrapped each chicken piece with 1/ii piece of bacon and cooked the kabobs very slowly on the grill. YUMMY with rice.
04/22/2004
I was really hoping for more season.... it was OK, not dandy. I don't suggest using London Broil, because even at medium rare, the kabobs were tough.
08/21/2008
Don't like these. No ane in my family would eat them. Chicken was "okay".
05/19/2010
Very practiced! My family loved these Kabobs. The marinade was wonderful.
06/04/2006
I marinated my chicken, beef, peppers and onions for about nine hours and added the mushrooms for the concluding 60 minutes so that they would not go as well mushy. The kabobs were great although the beef was a little dry because we left them on the grill a niggling besides long. Next time, I will add more veggies (squash, zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant) and will watch my cooking time closely.
09/01/2008
Everyone raved most the marinade on the steak this weekend. I doubled the recipe and used nearly 3lbs of steak. Volition use again.
02/10/2007
It's surprising how iv ingredients tin can brand such a divergence. What really impressed me (and my dinner guests) was that I just marinated them for five hours, which in my experiende is simply non long enough for beef. I can't wait to try again merely this fourth dimension marinating overnight. I may also add a fleck of soya sauce for a flake of saltiness, but information technology's not really necessary.
04/12/2008
Fantabulous recipe. I made the following adjustment however for our taste. Reduced dear by one/2 but added o.j. to make up the sweet. Added a splash of sesame oil. Practice DOUBLE the recipe and salvage 1/2 for basting!
07/05/2004
these were a big striking at my fourth of july bbq. they are pretty easy to make and succulent!
07/06/2009
Delicious! These were a big hit at a BBQ we had. I had them marinated overnight. Definitely keep the meat and veggies separate.
07/09/2011
We made these for July 4th and they were a striking! I used chicken only and light-green peppers instead of cherry. I as well separated the veggies and craven as some of the other reviewers recommended!
05/31/2012
very adept marinade. Exist certain to use a good piece of beefiness.
08/27/2008
I made these kabobs for a barbeque and I ran out i never run out of food I marinated overnight. I besides didnt feel comfy about putting beef and chicken in the same marinade and so i made them in separate numberless
06/03/2008
I would give this v stars if I had gone exactly by the recipe, but made a few changes. Omitted the ginger (personal preference),and did not marinade the vegetables. Also added pineapple juice to the chicken marinade and used pineapple chunks on the kabobs. The onions were my personal favorite, as vidalias are in season. Guests thought they were fantastic. Served with new potatoes with caper sauce as well establish on this site.
04/25/2013
Volition never make again, flavorless, dry, nasty......
07/08/2010
The marinade was absolutely perfect. I marinated mine for almost eight hours and that seemed to exist enough fourth dimension.
03/21/2004
Splendid basic kabob recipe -- I used buffalo instead of steak and chicken, which was excellent!
